Games are motivating. Games are learning opportunities teachers need to use daily. I think I have always had a focus on games for my whole career as a teacher, and really so much longer than that. This was my focus when I started making games for French fun.

The French Fun games have that same pared-down vocabulary repetition that is tied to monthly, seasonal or special days. There are also games that help with sound practice. If I want to practice the sound B – I’m going to need some French words to practice – balle, bébé, baton. There are games that help us practice our numbers too!

At first, I was building the games in Construct and posting them to a website. It was exciting, but I wanted to get feedback on their individual work. I wanted a LMS – classroom based over. I started working with Lovable and I was able to recreate this. This was something I could share with others too!

The teacher dashboard allows you to easily add your students, pick a fun avatar, and set a four digit code for them. Teachers can reset pin numbers as needed. Teachers can also pick the games from a large list of ready games. A live feed and recent activity screen help you keep track of what is happening in real time. These pages are also printable so you can add them to evidence binders or folders as examples from independent work.

The students easily add in a class code and their pin numbers to access the student dashboard. On the student dashboard, there is only the work to focus on.. no advertisements or distractions. Repetitive game structure allows for students to work with confidence or help fellow students confidently “fix” things.

At the end of the games, students collect “gems” for their work. These gems can help determine the amount of individual work completed by the student, but more importantly, add to a class total. Encourage your class to hit milestones together!

Have fun!
